London's independent Windrush festival is back in 2026 after a 2 year break.

We gather once again to celebrate our Caribbean roots, Migration journey & Windrush history with the generations who became Black & Brown British.

A one of a kind event created from the heart of the grassroots entertainment scene for Black culture...From a vision to a reality, we show how sustainable smaller festivals can be done differently.

Item	Permitted	Notes
Alcohol		Sorry, we have a fair & reasonably priced bar
Nitrous Oxide & Legal Highs		None! Sorry this means no laughing gas
Drugs & Illegal Substances		None! Sorry this also includes Weed
Unidentifiable Substances		Seriously... do you even know what it's called?
Personal Sound Systems		We have music all sorted. If you want spin some tunes get in contact
Work Tools or Multi-tools		This also means pen/pocket knives & swiss army knives
Unauthorised Traders		Unless you are an official trader please do not attempt to sell inside or within the footprint of the event venue. You will be asked to move on
Chairs & Shade		Please only bring folding chairs & ensure that any shade items are fixed to the ground and stable
Flags with poles		Please make sure that your flag do not cause any interference with others
Personal Transport		Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, roller blades, personal mobility scooter
Small Personal Picnics		Please leave the dutch pots & burner rings at home. We have food traders onsite to fill your bellies. You can bring a regular sized personal picnic hamper. Please do not bring glass into the event site
Kites		Please feel free to bring your kites along but you may be asked not to fly them at times during the event
Placcards & Large Signs		No unauthorised advertising is permitted, however if you have a sign with a positive/uplifting message this is welcome
Medication		Recommended to bring a doctor's note or prescription
Personal Protection		Sun hat, sunscreen (under 100ml), sunglasses, rainwear, wooly jumper/fleece
Money		Cash / Debit Card / Credit Card / App
ID		For buying alcohol & entry if you are a young person accompanying minors
