About Burgess Park

Burgess park is an open recreational space with a large serene lake in the heart of Southwark. It has a long held history with the early anti-racist movement festivals up until the mid 90's and fond memories within the Black community for Caribbean, African and Black British generations for having gatherings & BBQ leisure times.

With all the deep connections, rich history & central access linking to North, East & West London it is a perfect location to celebrate Black presence in London.
