Wanna be an official festival flag waver?
We’re looking for up to 50 flag bearers to take part in our parade of caribbean flags for our Windrush 75 celebration festival

If you have an act you want to appear at the festival this year all applications are handled by our organising team.
Tell us what you do... Music? Dance? Movement? Poetry? Spoken Word? Re-enactment? Talks? Theatrical Drama? Something else?
We have both seasoned acts and also newbies who join us so don't think this isn't for you too! Whilst we have professional stage programming we also run an Open Platform Stage which is a people-led programme. This means that if you have something amazing to share and want to take a slot in the spotlight, we welcome you to submit your request.
Since 2018 the festival has provided a spotlight for over 100 performance acts on the main stage.
If you're a local established act who would just love to support one of our festivals, or if you are simply wanting a spot on stage then why not make an application.

The demographics are wide and reach of our festival crosses a multigenerational audience so you can niche into the demographic group that suits your mission.

Windrush Festival is a grassroots community empowered event.
Since 2018 our festivals and events have been assisted by volunteers, with local people and small businesses working together to make it a success. Being a Windrush Festival Volunteer is a great way to make new friends and have some fun whilst doing something positive for the community.
Volunteers can get a taste of most areas of the festival whilst having a chance to enjoy the day.
If you choose to volunteer we may need you before, during or after the event. Even if you have just a few hours to spare this can be helpful, so we’d love to hear from you!
We accept everyone with all abilities & all ages, but there are some skills necessary to make a great volunteer.
Having additional professional skills is a bonus for our team.

We try to accomodate media, press groups & bloggers at our festival.
If you require press access please email us in advance to register your details.
All press are requested to wear accreditation whilst onsite undertaking photograpy or filming.
If attendees are not willing to be filmed or photographed you may be asked to remove the media from your devices.
There will be a generic filming notice at the festival entrance and also located on our event website.
